If everything is in order mechanically, i.e. the chains are not rusty and the grease is not resinified, it is because the motors hardly receive any electrical energy. This is because the fuses or a ground point in the front footwell first lead to the four-way switch in the driver's door and from there to the respective door, via various plug connections that oxidize over the years and decades and thus allow less and less electricity to pass through.
This is remedied by our modules, which are prepared ready for installation and can also be assembled by people with instructions in words and pictures, for which electrics is a book with seven seals.
